These horse drawn wagons are all throughout the park. They will take you around, for a fee!
It has been several days since I have had the opportunity to update you all on the status of our adventure. Those of you who know Cynde are probably wondering if I am among the living - having been on the road now for NINE (count 'em, nine days) days and moving around the southeastern United States in a 28 foot motor coach. Let me say that I am indeed alive and well. Although I have learned a few golden rules of traveling with my wife - Rule #1 - if it is Cynde's idea, it is great!; Rule #2 - if Cynde didn't say it, it ain't so!; and finally, Rule #3 - it's Cynde's way or the highway - literally! As long as I follow those three basic rules, all is well in the world of retirement!

We left Destin on Sunday and made Disney's Fort Wilderness just before dark. No trouble finding the park, thanks to Siri! (Siri is the tiny voice inside my iPhone who tells me where to go - when Cynde isn't)! Our campsite is great - heavily wooded, but just a short walk to the bathrooms and the laundry. We can catch a

bus to go to all parks or a boat to go to the Magic Kingdom.

Monday was spend at Epcot - our favorite park. We arrived just after the park opened and took quick advantage of the lack of a large crowd to visit our favorite attractions near the park's entrance. We moved steadily throughout the park, experiencing it as adults without children in tow! It was a great way to see the sights! And yes, finally, Cynde got to have lunch in Paris! It was a great Paresian restaurant, very famous for it's quiche and French Onion Soup. Although it was only located in the World Showcase, it was very authentic and enjoyable. We did not last long enough at the park to witness the fireworks. We were tired and ready to go home.

Today, we slept in a little late, but managed to drag ourselves to the local dock and catch the boat to the Magic Kingdom. We were able to enjoy several rides and attractions at the park. By 3 p.m. we were ready to head home for a rest, with the plan of catching the bus to Downtown Disney for a night of adventure
