Friday in Orlando

So after we spent Thursday shopping, we spent Thursday evening putting it all away or together! Hillary packed meat in meal serving sizes and labeled it all and got it in the freezer, David put things together, and Susan sat on the roof with the dog (no, not again this time!) Actually got chairs!!! So the patio was available to sit and chat, until a train went by.

David put the kitchen table and bathroom storage unit together and we made a list for Friday, mainly of the number of anchor bolts needed! Called it quits about 1 with lots done, after having opened the last box--didn't necessarily get its contents dealt with but it's open!

Friday, I walked down Pine st and got breakfast and David went and got anchors etc. Got the curtain rod (actually a nice steel cable) and the curtains hung, the mirror, Marine print, pots and pans rack and the pots, DVD rack all up--David had a full day! Hill and I hung a few pictures and thought we were pretty much done.

Had a nice last evening in town, great flights home and am safely in Harrisonburg where I can get back to the "real world" Monday...

Curtains hung
And being steamed to get rid of the creases. In IKEA, David espied a set of hangers that is basically
a wire cable that you can tighten. Only have to mount two pieces, one on each wall. Simple, clean, effective!

Curtains pulled all the way over, pics up, mostly all in place, just one pile of boxes to get through

From the couch under the tv. These are intended to provide privacy for when guests stay over, kind of divide it off. Of course, multiple sins can be hidden back there when just a few folks come over for dinner or drinks.
