Left Marina around 0700. Came across St. Joseph sound with wind and seas. Cold, cold, cold. Arrived home dock around 1500 hours. John, Brenda and Lulu were there to help us tie up. John took pictures of us in our Alaskan get up. Pete said Maribel, Happy Birthday, this is what I got you.
Our next door neighbors, Sherry and Rob came over. Brought us a bottle of champagne. Other friends, Kam and Mike came over to check boat out.
Had early diner, and stayed warm in our house.

Upon Pete's retirement in 2005, decision was made to go South on the boat. We will take it one day at a time. One island at a time. See how far we get. Unfortunately it was late in the season, so we took of on the land boat instead for 6 months. In 2006, we made our 1st crossing across the Florida straights towards the unknown, new cultures, islands, countries, foods, vegetation, etc. We hope you enjoy reading our adventures and looking at our pictures.... full info
