Why the name - Cat-Herder?

Some of you may be wondering where we got the name "Cat-Herders". Over the years, we have traveled with a large number of friends, mostly cruises. For some reason, we ended up the couple that made all the plans, arranged the excursions, and tried to ensure that everyone was where they should be at the right time. On one of the cruises, one of our friends said that watching us try to accomplish this was like watching someone try to herd cats. The name stuck. Just try to visualize someone herding cats. That's just what it's like. So, stay tuned. This could be interesting, as none of us have ever taken an RV adventure. In fact, I don't think any of us have ever driven one!

The Cat Herder and his wife are a retired couple residing most of the year in Northeastern USA. Since retirement we have taken a liking to traveling, sometimes with a large group of our friends, other times with our long time friends and travel companions, John and Diane. The term "Cat herder and his wife" originated from our first Med cruise. There was a group of 12 on that trip, all retired.
