The largest Gothic Cathedral in Europe was unbelievable. The attached picture of the gold chest contains the relic skulls of the Three Wiseman.We learned all about Kolsch beer. Kolsch has to be brewed within 30 miles of the city. We toured a jail, retention center and torture center/museum that the German Gastapo used during WW2 . Very moving. The night ended enjoying traditional German pub food followed by a visit to several local pubs that brewed Kolsch beer. There are 26 official Kolsch breweries in and around Cologne .No we did not get to all 26, but we did hit a few.
