They're coming, they're coming! Not the British as Paul Revere yelled but more of our family who are arriving today (Wednesday). Cory and I drove to the Orlando Airport to pick up our youngest son, Tim, and our youngest grandchild, Conner. We passed the time at the airport watching the huge lines of travelers go through the inspection lines.....worse than Disney lines. Sad faces either from the long wait or the fact that they were leaving sunny Florida. Tim & Conner arrived @ 4:30 PM. Absolutely terrific to see them again. They were as excited to be here as we were to have them.
Cory got us through the tangled web of traffic leaving this huge, busy airport. They hadn't eaten so that was top on the priority list. We stopped at an Applebee's on Rt.192. It was not the best experience: poor and slow service. My food was not that good. But because we were with Tim & Conner after all these months, it was just fine. Nothing could ruin this reunion. A quick stop at a Wall-Mart to get a few of Conner's favorite foods. AND then we made it to the RV. They thought the weather was
Cory, Conner & Tim
At airport baggage claim great (low 70's). Conner was impressed seeing the green palm trees. We let the Knapp family know we were back so they came down to welcome Tim & Conner. The family is growing and so is the festive atmosphere. Lulu is clapping and singing (best she can). Conner isn't quite as thrilled with Lulu as others. He would just as soon have her stay in her carry bag than sit on his lap. She understands and obliges. She is alert and sensitive to others' needs. Gotta love that girl!
The Faber family also arrived today at the Orlando Airport. They landed after Tim & Conner and got their own rental car. They went to Celebration (the town that Disney built) where they are staying in the elegant Celebration hotel for two nights. They notified us that they were here and we're going to get settled for the night. We would see them in the morning. Just glad knowing that they are here safe and sound. It will be wonderful seeing all of them in the morning. Kim suggested we meet them at the corner restaurant in Celebration for breakfast. Sounds like a plan.

Conner
Star Wars fan with us in the RV until Friday when they will move into our timeshare. There, they will be located next door to the Faber's at the condo's. They like this "camping" experience and adapt to the closeness easily. Lulu watches over them from her nest on high.
Today (Thursday), we all got up fairly early (for me, anyway). We were excited because we were going to have breakfast with our family. The Knapp's drove over to Celebration as did we. We all hugged the Faber's as soon as we saw them. Yeah.....our family is slowly blending back together. We took up the largest seating area in the restaurant. There are 11 of us right now.....with more yet to come. It was a superb meal shared with most of our family members. Yippee.
We strolled like "the boat people" back to Kim & Jim's hotel room to see what this exquisite hotel looks like on the inside. Gorgeous, of course. They had a small balcony overlooking the Main Street of Celebration. What more could you ask for?!
Even though the skies were slightly overcast, we decided to head over to Regal Oakes where Lory, Jay & Sara are
staying. The girls, Tim & Conner wore their swimsuits and got in the beautiful swimming pool. The girls & Conner had a fun time going down the big water slides. We lounged and chattered together around the pool until lunchtime. Conner grab a quick swim in the Knapp's hot tub before they all came over to the RV for lunch. Our picnic table is finally getting a good workout. It is so good to see all of their happy faces and hear their laughs we are so familiar with.
Late afternoon, we decided we would take a trip over to Disney Springs. There is construction along the way but the traffic keeps moving. Their new parking garage is a snap. LED numbers on the outside of each row tells you how many empty spaces are available. We parked on the roof. Gave us a good view of what lay ahead of us. It was busy with tourists but not as bad as I anticipated since this is a holiday week. We snuck in and out of the shops. Conner liked the new Star Wars and Super Heroes stores. Cory led us through the Boat House restaurant to see the

Sara, Conner, Jim, Lory, Cory, Jay, Kim, Tim, Haley (friend) Haley (granddaughter) restored antique boats located outside of it. A very pleasant place to sit and relax.
Moving on.....Conner was jumping with joy to finally reach the Lego Store. He did not leave empty handed. He was happy! He's 10 years old so you can feel the happiness through every bone in his body! Once everyone was rounded up, we headed back to our cars.
The skies were getting dark. Each family returned to their own location. Just in time: the rains came down in torrents. Thunder pounded in the background. A few flashes of lightning made a great light show. Let it rain in the night all it wants.....just bring the sun back during the daytime! "Rain, Rain, Go Away....we have family who wants to play!"Tomorrow is moving day.
Hope you have no plans....we can use all the help we can get to help move the Faber's and Tim/Conner into their condos. We have asked for early check-in so hopefully they can get relocated by early afternoon. We'll just wait & see. Lulu would certainly help but she's short on arms and legs to give a hand. We are depending on the rest of you. It will be
good sleeping with the rain on our roof...life in a tin can! Now we know what it's like to be tuna fish or sardines. See you tomorrow, everyone.
