We still have places to go and things to do. Where do you want to start first? Hmmmmm.....lets go into Orlando. Remember impaired Sandy and her injuries from her fall at TP? Our goal of the day is to find MetroWest Center for Diagnostic Imaging. WAZE: please take us there. We traveled on roads we had never traveled before....we always enjoy that. We escorted Sandy into a big building. Her appointments was in the first door on the right....easy peasy. She had an MRI on her right shoulder to examine her torn rotator cuff. She said the procedure was “okay” but extremely noisy! We decided we needed give her a special treat so we zoomed to “The Trough” (Golden Corral Restaurant)! What better place to lick your wounds and indulge in copious amounts of food! We all were badly swollen when we rolled out of this mega feed trough! We saw some of our friends there.....glad to know we aren’t the only ones from the park that like to gorge themselves into gluttonville. What else can we do for Sandy? I know....take out her chin stitches.....I did that for her so she has one wound that’s healed up so far.
Okay....on to the next day. What’s your pleasure? Hey, let’s go to Windermere, Florida. That’s where Tiger Woods used to live when he got clobbered by his golf club. Martha Sugalski (Orlando TV anchor) and her triplets live here, too. But we are going here for another reason. Today we are taking Sandy to her orthopedic clinic to get a hard cast put on her right arm/hand. She has a slightly displaced, broken bone in her hand. This time I could accompany Sandy into the cast room. She selected a dark turquoise color for her cast. Pretty but too dark for autographs. Guess we will just have to sign her uncasted arm....like tattoos. I’m calling first dibs.
“What now?”Sam asks. One of his favorite inquiries. We found the perfect restaurant in Windermere for Sam. It is called “Toasted”. There are foods that Sam likes and can eat and others that don’t work at all. Grilled cheese is always a good standby. This one even came with a tomato on it....he loves it like that! He even got tomato soup to go with it. The perfect combo. The rest of us got hamburgers.....they were good but on a big Artisan
roll.....too much bread! Next time, we will get a grilled cheese.
New Year’s Eve arrived. We celebrated in our routine fashion: Watching the ball drop on TV .....if we don’t fall asleep first. Hooray....we stayed awake and watched it drop! Happy New Year Everyone! Right after our big smackeroo, fireworks went off! No, not from our kiss.....from Old Town followed by Disney Springs. And we could watch them right from our RV window. Beautiful! What a perfect place to be....in our cozy, little house...our only house!
And you thought Christmas was over! Hah! Not until the fat lady sings and the last ornament is put away! Yesterday, the four of us visited several of the real big box stores: Costco and Ikea. Ate Swedish Meatballs and chocolate cake at IKEA. Lip licking good. Tried to find a movie theater and movie in the area but it didn’t work out. Next time! Cory drove our sleigh to Disney Springs. Remember we had been there December 6th to eat at the Earl of Sandwich.....’member? Well, directly behind us at The Earl was Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail. We never saw it! It started on Nov.5th. Obviously, we were too engrossed
filling our faces instead of checking out our surroundings. Now, only two days left of this winter wonderland display so we made this our goal yesterday evening. We wanted to go when these fabulous, decorated trees were lit up. Parking was a challenge...Cory circled around and around and up and down the parking garage levels! Phew....found one. Santa’s sleigh would have parked on the rooftop but even that had no room! Off and running we went. Made it! There were 22 Disney-themed decorated Christmas trees.....based on Disney movies! The entire area had many other lighted trees and backdrops....it even snowed! ??It’s Beginning to Look Like Christmas?? but it’s over for the year of 2019!! Only 356 more days before Christmas again. Lulu should have been with us....look at all the photo shots she missed! Fortunately, Sandy & Sam we’re agreeable and willing substitutes. Lulu is back at the RV trying to get over typhoid fever. I told her not to drink from the muddy, murky, grimy creek that runs through the park. She thought she was drinking Spring Water! We will have to make an appointment with an eye doctor for her. She never learns! She would love any get
well wishes you want to send her.
Today started out nice: warm and sunny. By noon, we were in the middle of a heavy rainstorm! When it rains here.....it really rains. It let up by mid afternoon as Cory prepped himself to watch the Buffalo Bill’s game at 4:30 pm. He was so happy as the game began....Bill’s were ahead and playing well. Bad, black clouds returned...not in the sky but over the Buffalo Bill players. The score was changing for the worse in the second half.....the Bills were struggling. The game went into overtime. Cory had been yelling at the TV and then some of the stuff he was saying sounded like he was yelling in tongue. I couldn’t understand it! By the end, “There was no joy in Mudville, the mighty Bills had lost”. Next year, Cory...next year....Go Bills!
And now we end this blog putting Christmas and the Buffalo Bills in the past for this year. Time to move forward. The best is yet to come. Maybe we have to be a little patient as we wait but sure, enough.....it will come. Enjoy it when it does!

Wishing you a Happy New Year!! I missed the blog about Sandy's injuries.... Sounds awful and painful! Hopefully she won't have to have shoulder surgery! That would slow you two down way too much.... Having a fx arm is bad enough......Just too bad and I am sorry to hear that...... I am sure you won't miss a beat..... :(
