Hooray.....as I mentioned in my previous blog, our son, Cory and his family arrived here at Tropical Palms on Saturday. Yippee! Cory (older) and Jay picked up our granddaughter, Rachael, at the airport. She flew in from Alabama. They (Cory, his girlfriend Penny, her daughter, Molly, and our 2 grandchildren: Shenen and Rachael) are all staying in a cottage here at Tropical Palms. Close to us....I like that! It’s so good to be with all of them again.
The kids are enjoying our golf cart and finding their way around our park on it. They are very careful and considerate drivers. The Easter Bunny stopped by our RV and left each of the kids a special Easter Egg. They had to hunt for it, though. Ooooh, Grandma & Grandpa .....don’t you know how old we are now? Ugh, Geeze.....but they found their eggs.
The plan was to go to the Golden Corral, a.k.a.THE TROUGH, for Easter dinner. Obviously, it was everybody else’s plan from Florida , too. The line was long and the place was packed! We squeezed around a long table in one of the side rooms.....with several other families. The food was good and it satisfied everyone
with their personal choices. Today’s special was personally grilled steaks...but not one of us got one! They look very good but we had already started filling up on everything else and left no room for steak. Had Lulu been with us....she would have gotten the steak. She’s like Cory: meat and potatoes all the way. You would think she could only eat baby food with her tight jaw but she’s not letting that stop her from eating real food. I just don’t know where it all goes (no stomach let alone any other organs).
After our late lunch, we all traveled over to our timeshare where Lory and her family is staying. It’s always so nice there. It is located in the Seaworld area. We bought it pre-construction and each time we go into our condo, it’s just like it’s brand new. We celebrated 3 birthdays on the porch: Cory (son) was March 13th, Big Cory was March 30th and our grandson, Shenen, is on April 8th. We were so full from the trough we couldn’t eat the colorful cupcakes we had. The birthday boys opened their gifts as we all oooooed and awwwwed. Our son, Cory, made an

announcement about following in his father’s footsteps. OMG! I don’t want to hear it. The stuff he picks up on are not always the most appropriate. This time, he went on-line, and got his paperwork, ID card and ID badge to become a minister. Yep, you can do this and he did! Same church that Cory (father.....no, not Father Cory) got his. Obviously, he’s not really ordained but he won’t get bumped off an airplane! His badge reads: Clergy! Like father, Like son! Help! Pray for us!
Oh, hey! I forgot to tell you about an occurrence that happened at the ASU clinic when I was having my cataract surgery. Can’t let this go untold.....definitely blog material. After they wheeled me away into surgery, Cory took advantage of his freedom. Clicking his heels, he went across the road to a Hardee’s to get a cup of coffee. He loves coffee. He came back to the ASU and went through the entrance door. That’s when it happened! Deafening Beep, Beep, Beep, Beep’s echoed throughout the entire building. At this point, my eye would be sliced open while the doctor slaved over me on my gurney. Quickly, the receptionist was with

Cory who had now put his coffee cup down and was fanning the fire alarm with a magazine! Can you believe it! His hot coffee set off the alarm! Who would have thought! Thank God, they didn’t try to evacuate me on my gurney out into parking lot! Bumping all the way with my eye laid wide open. Oooh, I can’t even think about it. How appropriate, though....we always like to make our presence known. They won’t forget us! Not sure what they will have us do when I go back for my second surgery on the other eye. Maybe refuse our entrance. Probably a strip search for Cory, anyway. They certainly will ban him from getting coffee! He’ll just have to swallow his spit until we leave the place.
Oh, the last photo on this blog is a local laundryman Cory happened upon here at Tropical Palms. He caught in the act and snapped this picture! Must be if you pay him enough, he’ll do your wash for you. Not too sure I would trust him with my dainties. We have seen him begging the campers here and passerby’s for laundry work. He has a spot up on
the street corner with a pathetic sign and a bottle of laundry soap. Someone must have hired him! Fools. I think his name is Jon Gibson, in case you should see his photo hanging in a post office. He doesn’t need the work....I think he’s just stealing peoples’ clothing for himself.....both men’s & women’s. Watch out for him!
That’s all for now. 25 pictures for you to check out....I go to my eye doctor tomorrow to have my operative eye checked and hopefully get an early schedule date to get my other eye done. Here’s looking at you!!
