What a blessing. This is the life! Our dream-come-true! We are able to go to my favorite store with just a hop, skip and a jump. So easy! So wonderful. So this was our prime destination on our first full day here. ???Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Da! What a wonderful day.???
Back home, it’s a good 40 minute drive in 2 directions before coming to this big box delight. Walmart wanted to come to Wellsville but a group of nay-sayers put the kibosh to that! Boo-Hiss. Such a disappointment because it would have really been such a benefit to our community and its residents. So we just take our money out of town and enjoy a day of shopping and dining outside of Wellsville. Too bad!
Our winter residence gives us what we yearn for. A five minute drive and we are at the entrance to this shoppers delight. Welcome to Walmart! Oh, yes.....Oh, yes! Our dedicated Walmart greeter is still there.....Steve. He’s like family - we see him so much! Hi, Steve! We’re back!!! His beaming smile is as welcoming as his pleasantry. Lulu wishes she could hug Steve.....but no arms, remember. And if we want even another Walmart store, two more
are just a little further down the road (one just opened - brand new!) What a gift! They are all over the place. I’m tingling!
Sunday afternoon was spent inside our RV with our wonderful friends, Sam & Sandy. The Buffalo Bills football game was on which took precedence over anything else. Well, it was fun being together again but disappointing to see the Bills loose. Next year? Flipper’s Pizza provided us with sustenance for Cory and Sam to watch a second football game. It is so exciting while being so relaxing just sitting around with these good folks again....just like old times. There are good ships and wood ships......
We talked about a few ideas to add to our yearly bucket list. You are really going to like everything planned. Don’t stray too far because we want you to be ready when the car horn honks....

Yeah, You're Back!!!
So glad you made it back , safe and sound... and don't feel too bad about missing your traditional, yearly stop to the Florida Welcome Center. You just missed it being OPEN by about a day!! It was closed on Thursday, "due to inclement weather" LOL and a friend that arrived on Friday, said there were ice cycles hanging off the roof... too crazy, plus Jacksonville had their "first measureable snowfall" since 1977 on Thursday. We broke all kinds of records here in Sunny Florida last week..... but don't put those Long Johns away yet!!! Remember, our saying here is " just wait 15 minutes if you want the weather to change." I think it's Friday it's supposed to be in the high 70's, close to 80, then on Saturday it drops to the mid 50's. ALL IN ONE DAY... but you're safe and Walmart is close to buy more warm duds and food when you need it. And you've got all your friends to share it with now!! Hope to see you kids soon... Mike and MJ
