We picked up the rental car from the Pensacola airport and began the road trip. The car is a Nissan Versa. The day was spent on freeways passing by Tallahassee and Lake City travelling east. At Lake City we began our southward trek. Weather is sunny and warm and the air conditioner is on all the time. The freeways are all 4 + lanes divided and in excellent condition.The rest stops seen in the pics are very nice compared to BC portables. After checking in we ate at the Cracker Barrel which is a southeast chain. Tomorrow we continue south towards Clearwater. We will then be over on the East Coast of Florida - the Gulf side.
