So far dinner was a delicous lasanga. Chabbad has fried egg plant later How to love everyone all of the time. That is the challenge. How to see the divine in everyone no matter how they act towards you. Every day is different, not like when you go to work. Went to look for the publisher of books on palmistry. I had vol1 and couldnt find volume 2. I haad his address from the back of the book. I also wanted to know if he would publish my two books on Kabbalistic Palmistry. My cab driver was a Sikh. He asked that after I was done he could ring me to shops. I agreed. He gets paid by the stores to do that. He talked a little but mostly I looked out upon the sea of ... read more

La vie royale…..Quand même ... read more

Holiday Greetings everyone.................. I really haven't any idea how the TravelBlog folks just got around to posting one of my blogs from 15 months ago! I sure didn't post it again..............however, if you are snow bound or suffering thru the icy blasts of the last days of fall (remember, winter doesn't start until 21 December), the perhaps the nice pics from Lindau will warm you up a bit !!!!!! On the travel front, I did a quick one week trip to the UK in early October and then have basically stayed home since. On 05 January 2008 however, I'll be flying back to London and then on to Southampton to board QE2 for a return 10 day trip, via New York, to Ft. Lauderdale. You might ask, "why the North Atlantic in January?". Don't you know ... read more

Fort Lauderdale Landed in Fort Lauderdale approx. 15 miles north of Miami. It is another popular spring break spot with its long sandy beaches, being made famous because of a movie made here in the 1960's called "Where the Boys are". The weather wasn't great for the two days I stayed here, but made a trip to the beach, even though I spent most of the time sheltered in the dry of the pub across the road. Florida Keys Whilst in Fort Lauderdale hired a car for 9 days to drive around Florida and decided to drive to Mainland USA's most southern point - Key West. Once I navigated my way past Miami & its toll bridges, it was an easy drive . There is just one route all the way down the Keys to Key ... read more

Arrived Miami Aug 1. Fusa was an Angel. Only time she complained, is when Pete was walking in PR, she was bouncing a little in the carrier. We took her food and water away around 1900 the night before. We rented a car in Miami. Drove to Fort Lauderdale. Visited with Donnie, Debbie and Jonner, Joann, Brian and Aj came by a couple of times. We left Aug 5 at 0900 hours, drove up the turnpike to I75 at a cost of $17.50 but lot's of time saved. We proceeded to Old town. This is where Ed and Gladys live. We spent 2 nights there. Picked up our Roadtrek, drove home. ... read more

FROM A SEP 2006 TRIP Having spent the last three days in Fort Lauderdale, Florida I just want to say - maybe global warming isn't all that bad - if it holds the promise that someday California's pacific waters will someday be at the same wonderful temperature as the Fort's. I've decided I'm going to do my bit by buying a Hummer instead of one of those retrograde hybrids The last time I was here around thanksgiving last year, the town was still recovering from Rita (i think it was Rita) with (literally) tons of uprooted palm trees and shredded shrubs, blue tarp covered blown-away roofs and everyone had a story to tell. There's little sign of the damage now: the roads are once again lined wih palm trees - many supported by funny looking splints ... read more
