After a short night, they say boating is only pleasure; during breakfast, we seemed to be drifting and decided on lifting the anchor and moving on, but the anchor didn’t not want to leave its nesting place. We had to work hard to be able to lift it up finally. Biscayne Bay was choppy with those North winds and when we arrived in Miami, the sun had warmed up the temperature and the wind had diminished quite a bit. We headed for a nice anchorage only to be greeted by a nasty homeowner who did not want boats in front
of his multi-million property. After being threatened, we moved further up to recover peace and quietness. Since we had had a bad night, it was an early retirement for all, until the police bang on the boat wanting to check on us and asking questions at 10:40 p.m., but after this we had a peaceful and recuperating night.
The weather is just like in the summer months here with very little rain, very warm with temperature well up in the 80’s everyday. We managed some bicycle rides, also were invited at the Tremblay’s which turned out to be a fashion show with Michel showing his great form. Because of the intervention of Claude Lesage, we were able to secure Trusty III up the New River at the same place where Claude keeps his boat down South. While
there, an incident occurred to another boat, as you can see in the pictures.
Since we are flying back to Montréal on Tuesday, this will be the last blog for a while and we take this opportunity to thank all for your attention and also your always appreciated comments. We will be back in a few weeks to start the last leg of the trip with our return up North.

Glad it was not TRUSTY III
Glad to hear you are still enjoying yourselves. Here the weather is still cold and miserable. Kids were suppose to be off to New York City but flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems. They have been rebooked at 9:40 tonight so we will try again. Sebastian had his 14th Bday party this past Friday evening. I had 5 boys at the house for the night . Thank God for Xbox 360.... and lots of PIZZA. Kids will be hopefully pending if they can get on the 9:40 flight tonight be in New York for the week (Spring Break). I will be travelling back and forth to Midland MI for meetings. We have tried numerous times to Skype but you are not available.
