This morning we woke up at Gilmore Girls inn and tried to move to our Hilton, where we were staying the rest of the week. We couldn't check in yet so we stopped by 'Alvin's Tourist Trap' or as the sign said ' Tropical Department Store.' we bought a couple boogie boards, then we were headed to the beach! Hilton let us use the beach and would call us when our room was ready. So we went to the beach and our boogie boards were almost immediatley taken. Welcome to Destin! Around 1 we were leaving to fast food and dad got in line to check on our room, the boys predictably got into yet another cat fight. The rest of us pretended not to know them. We ate at fastfood. We then headed back to the beach where we spent a leisurely afternoon by the pool and beach. And we found our boogie boards, in the trunk, unopened, we're such blondes. The sand looked like snow and the water like a pool, it's so pretty here. Our hotel room is amazing too! It has a bumk bed a pull out couch and a king and you can see the beach! Mr. Derrick Downer a.k.a Connor the weatherman, forecasted a week of storms, so did my phone, but today was a perfect cloudless 90 degree day. Dad who is a non-believer when it comes to sunscreen, actually put on a small amount of sunscreen, when mom made him, because "He hadn't gotten a base tan." haha Me and the boys built a giant sandcastle and went swimming and the boys snorkeled.
