Day 34, travel

We had planned to go to the Outer Banks and camp on the beach for two days, but after 4 weeks of beautiful weather we hit our first rain and the forcast continued for several days.

We changed our plan and drove into North Carolina .... Hit the Vistor Center and didn't find anything very exciting on our drive path so continued to South Carolina and decided to visit Charleston. In fact we drove within an hour of my birthplace (Hartsville SC) and I feel guilty of not stopping and seeing my uncle but I didn't want to impose without warning.

We hit Charleston at 9PM and decided on a hotel instead of camping in the rain.
