We were supposed to go sea kayaking in the morning, but it was too stormy. Instead, we went for a drive along the coast. In the afternoon, we attended the wedding, which was held in a tent behind the dunes instead of near the waves. We actually all decided this was better, as we never would have been able to hear the blessings if we were close to the surf.
The reception was lots of fun, except for the sand fleas. Maria and her mother sang a duet; I made Kyla promise that I would not be asked to do that at her wedding.
