Movie Manor Star Drive In and a Roadside Shrine

Just west of Monte Vista there is a Best Western that is designed so that one can watch the drive in movie from the motel room. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only motel in the U.S. that is combined with a drive in . The shrine is about 8 miles west of Walsenburg on Colo. 160 on the north side of the highway. I have named it “The Shrine of the Immaculate Adopt a Mile”.
