Today we drove from Idaho Falls, Idaho to Grand Junction, Colorado. We ate a picnic lunch in Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City and remembered to stop by for our free slurpees at 7-11 before we got back on the road. In the afternoon, we crossed the Wasatch Mountains and enjoyed beautiful views of sandstone hills, plateaus and canyons along the Green River and its tributaries. We could see storm clouds dropping rain miles away as we drove. After dinner, we enjoyed the outdoor pool and spa at our hotel in Grand Junction.
