We made it to Gunnison, CO to visit our boy Marty at Western State. Its been a fun weekend. Felt good to cut loose be back in a college atmosphere. The ride here was amazing, as always. We went over Lizard Head Pass right around 10, 500 ft. There was a ton of snow but the roads were dry. We are 1500 some odd miles deep and we're starting to move a lot faster. On monday we head out for Monarch Pass at 11, 300 ft, the highest elevation that we have to cross on the trip. After that its pretty much easy riding through november rain and cornfields of Kansas until we hit the applachians. We plan on powerhousing through the plains but you never know what your up against. I think when we hit the east coast, I'm going to turn around and head back across, because this is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. Peace.
