Today was quite an interesting (and sometimes annoying) one. We woke up and got moving around 9, with two stops planned on our drive: one at a hot spring, one for a hike. I only got Laura moving by threatening that we wouldn't stop at the hot spring if we didn't get moving by 10:30. Well, as it turns out, we didn't actually get out until 10:45, and I did accidentally keep my promise. It turns out, all the good hot springs on the east side of the Rockies - where we were driving - are owned by resorts. The hike-in ones are all in the center and west, several hours off our path. The last few days have been very fun but alcoholic! We went out to a local pub for a work mates leaving do...she is such a sweetie. We chatted to various people non stop, including my boss Bridget, who both Jo n and I really like. She has invite us to go out for a night her way (so she can stumble home on foot!) which we are looking forward to and Veronica (girl who's leaving after 11 years at Make A Wish to live with her boyfriend in Memphis) invited us out for happy hour again next Thursday... Geo: 39.5933, -104.91After breakfast, I popped across the street to have a look at this hotel that the boys were working on. Very cool décor - all black marble with gold accents. And they have this fabulous lion statue outside -- how very Me! We got ourselves packed into a van just like the one we'd had for the first few days (but this time we had an extra person - the driver). Got to <a href="http://www.heathrowairport.com">Heathrow</a> with plenty of time to spare (I much prefer this method).
