Red Rocks Statue
This is a tribute to the workers that build this amazing amphitheater in the natural red rock formation On our way to Boulder from Golden, we decided to stop in to see the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison. We've seen 2 concerts here in the past and we always enjoy the beautiful view and the amazing magnitude of the amphitheater. It has incredible acoustics. This is a hot spot during the day for the fit with many people running the bleachers both up and down and across. Drew and Sean each took a shot at going down and then up with Sean doing it twice to see if he could beat his time. Sean's best time was 1 minute 40 seconds. From Red Rocks we made our way to Boulder to check out the University of Colorado campus. CU is a big campus with an amazing number of facilities and residences. You have to love a school that has a real buffalo for a mascot. From Boulder we headed to the Denver area to stay with some great friends for our last 2 nights in Colorado. The boys enjoyed a great evening in their hot tub.
