We made it to Yosemite today. Todd’s early rise enabled us to cross the park entrance gate just after 10:00 am, so we had a lot of time to drive through the scenic roads and explore the visitor center. Mirror, Mirror on the Lake, Who's the Fairest of All Snakes?
Gotta love those twisting mountain roads. Like a snake on hot asphalt! We remember those well, and those beautiful "rocks" too. Luckily, we didn't have the huge number of people you have, but I guess you just have to roll with them. A fun question we asked each other while there was, "is the dome half full or half empty"? Yosemite makes you look at it sometimes thinking that way. Hey, long live Rock and Roll!
