From SF we drove to the Yosemite National Park. The car we drove was hired from Alamo (Civic Centre, 150 Valencia Street - excellent place + service, another recommendation). The way to Yosemite was beautiful, we drove on very narrow roads built on the slopes of hills and mountains, the views were amazing! Check out the pictures! And we were staying in a hostel in Groveland, which is literally just 20 minutes away from the main entrance to Yosemite. Firstly, we visited the Hitch Hetchy Valley and then the next day we went into the main Yosemite Valley.
