I can't believe we are doing this again...flying hours across the Pacific to a far away destination. As a girl who is not a big fan of flying, that is the most stressful part of any vacation! But, I won't bore you with my flying fears. I know you have all heard them before, lol! (Thanks for listening. :-)) One thing I love about a vacation that departs from San Francisco is the chance to spend a few days at home in Vacaville before we travel. It is nice to be here, relaxing and visiting with friends. Geo: 38.3514, -121.993We got everything loaded, groceries shopped for and headed out for the country property around 6:00 pm. We were very lucky and did not have much in the way of traffic and made good time. Got there and got the tent set up without the help of the "dawgs" who tried to help us in the beginning. Paul had set us up a refrigerator in the barn to put our thing into which was very nice.Had dinner and a great conversation on topics ranging from the beginnings of the Berkeley Outlet to life today and everything in between. I have bug bites all over my legs and hip. Of course, I am hoping it is not bed bugs. I did stay in two hotels and two hostels, but I think these are from the park in Jackson. Maybe chiggers. I looked up bites on the internet and apparently you can’t judge a bug by it’s bite. Mosquitos, chiggers and bed bug bites can all look the same. The only way to positively identify bed bugs is to actually catch one of the bugs, or at least see it, which I didn’t (and I checked everything, everywhere). This is the second time I have been covered in bites. The first was after I left St. Louis. I attributed that to mosquitoes from camping, but I did have on repellent, except when I showered.
