th. This has been the longest run we have made to date. We spent all day Thursday in Sequoia NP and Kings Canyon NP. A fantastic tour. The four of us rode in Joe and Cindy's truck as we visited Sherman's tree and Grant's tree. While the high temp at the RV park reached 82, it was often below 50 degrees in the mountains with fog and some drizzle. The sequoias were awesome. No other word. The drop from 7,000 feet down to below 2,000 as we drove down King's Canyon made for spectacular views. Joe missed most of them since he was driving but the rest of us thoroughly enjoyed magnificent vistas. The loop through the parks and back to camp was a little over 200 miles and well worth it. We got back later than planned so cancelled out barbeque and went to Olive Garden instead. A great day!
