Saturday Oct. 6th - Andy and I biked to the grocery store (kinda). We got lost and went a few miles past the grocery store and then on the way back we saw Mattuci's bar in San Anselmo. We took some pictures because they had a cool statue of the blues brothers. We made breakfast when we got back to Sue and Fritz' (at 2pm because we got lost).

Sunday Oct. 7th - Really Great day - Fritz and Sue treated Andy and I to a delicious breakfast at "Comforts" in San Anselmo. I had my first fig that wasn't in a fig-newton. They brought us to the San Fransisco Theology Seminary and we saw incredible views of the valley and some really Scottish-looking buildings. We stood infront of the Stewart Memorial Chapel at Geneva Hall and I just thought it was really cool we were at Geneva Hall because that's my best friend since kindergarden's name. Sue and Fritz also showed us Robson-Harrington Park which is the town's community garden and we saw our first quince (a pear/apple-like fruit). The bricks in the garden were salvaged from the San Francisco fire (of 1906?) so they had a glassy glaze

type finish. The garden was really pretty and we had the best tour guides in town. Fritz and Sue were really knowledgable and it was great being able to learn about what we were seeing. Fritz drove us to the car repair shop and we dropped off the car and then he took us to the Golden Gate Ferry to San Francisco. On the way in - we saw Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, a pirate ship, and the ships from the America's cup. We got off the ferry and bused to the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival. The festival is in Golden Gate Park and we sat in the grass listening to music and eating teriyaki. Really Great day.

Monday Oct. 8th - Who knows...

Great Day!
So fun to hear about and see pics of your time with Sue and Fritz! I've been to some of those places and am remembering the good times I had, too. I agree, Sue and Fritz and the best tour guides! mom/linda
