San Francisco....what a great way to finish our trip!

Thanks to Jo, Jess and Drew for an amazing week in this beautiful city in California!...

We finished our 4 month extended honeymoon with a week in San Francisco ... with the tour guide from heaven! Highlights include....


* Awakening every morning to a handwritten itinerary from our 'tour guide' Jo (look her up if you go to SF!) complete with mapped out route!
* Stunning city, beautiful weather, chilly wind and crazy hills (ahhhh just like Welly!), great outdoor (and indoor) art, random street performers
* Cycling over the Golden Gate bridge....completed fogged out while on the bridge and cloudless skies once we were off
* Visiting permaculture gardens and our first rooftop garden throughout the city...lets get these going back home!...so easy, just add people and a bit of spare time...
* Driving up and down the coast of California...stunning scenery...visited a beautiful hot springs 'resort' in the middle of nowhere where we camped and soaked....and soaked...and soaked....
* Night out on the town....dressed to kill in sort of 80's style...the club even did free hair and makeup AND had a free black and white photo booth...AND a midnight 'dance off'...too cool!
* Cycling around town on the many cycle lanes around the city...paying a visit to a few of the many second hand stores in the Mission, and checking out an amazing alleyway where EVERY spare wall/garage is covered in amazing graffiti art
