Super long bridge
not even sure where this is but its sooooo longTemp:65°F - 18°C - Sunny, cold breeze
Day 9 was an earlyish one with our flight to San Francisco! We got to our hostel (which is pretty nice and we have our own ensuite (oh la la). Finally got thru to the family on Skype (sorry for the early wake up call!). We have free wireless here for the next 3 days sooo woo! i can catch up with people more!
We took ourselves on a bus which stops right outside our hostel down to the piers. Had a look at some souvenir shops and The Candy Barrel (which sells the best taffy there is, in any flavour u could want!) and had some maccas for dinner before heading to pier 33 for our sunset/night Alcatraz tour. Anyone who comes here has to do it! It was kinda creepy, and yes, a tad cold but soooo interesting.
When we got back it was dark and really cold so we made our way back to the hostel (and got on two wrong buses, thankfully the locals are very helpful!) and here i am writing this. Not sure of the plans for the next few days, we wanna get a tour in
of San Fran and go out to the Japenese Gardens too.

Hmm... I think just seeing your photos of Alcatraz will be enough for me hun! I'd be too scared of going to that place all shut away on it's own little island! Be just my luck the wind blows and the door slams! :o( Looking forward to seeing all of your photos of the places pre-tour that I'm not visiting. Bringing the laptop so can sit and have a slideshow on the bus! :o) x x
