It was a delight to wake up in San Diego!

Off the ship we went to the Ferry just a short jaunt away with friends Bob and Sandra. They wished to come along with us as we went on our excursion to take a look at the condo we will rent in January, 2016.

Upon arrival on Coronado Island, a free shuttle was waiting to take us downtown leaving us off in front of City Hall. We then waited for a bus to take us to the Coronado Cays about 3 or 4 miles south of town. After a little walk we found the condo and took pictures and strolled the neighborhood a bit. We felt quite pleased at what we found - should be a great home for 3 months next year.

Back on the bus to the Del Coronado Hotel where we had lunch. Bus back to San Diego and walked the pier for a bit before boarding the ship for 3:30.

It was a very short visit but we are so happy we will be returning to this beautiful place.
