We made it to America! Waiting for our SF to SD flight
So, we're finally away! Tamar and I got to Ben Gurion airport with plenty of time to spare, and a good thing too! Apparently almost 50 flights took off today to Uman (crazy religious)! But once we got through the check-in line things went smoothly, and we got past the security and passport control easily, with time to spare to stroll through the duty free and make terrible puns with the stuff they sell there.

The flight was, well, I'd rather not do that again anytime soon! 15 hours on a plane with uncomfortable seats and lots of loud kids & babies. We reached San Francisco on time, if a bit ragged, and got through the airport smoothly and on time for our next flight.

The next flight was just a short hop to San Diego. We had a good laugh at the pilot. He gave the regular spiel but with such a funny theatrical attitude. Like in a cheap advertisement on the radio. comfortable as possible!" Hilarious!

We even landed at the San Diego airport a little early and got our luggage quickly. We met up with Noah and he took us to his home. We got here at about 10 AM and met Tali.

After dumping our stuff and having some much needed coffee, Noah took me for a ride around the area while Tali took Tamar for shopping and to get Milli from kindergarten.

Noah and I went for a short walk up the hill behind his house and saw the view to the sea. It is very lovely here! We drove around the different neighborhoods nearby and then took a stroll on the beach. Then we went to pick up the kids from school. The school looks very nice and the kids seem to like it. What more can you ask for? Maor and Eldad were very happy to see us and we got shown around the house again.

We had a relaxing afternoon and then crashed... I went to have a short rest at about 5 PM and woke up at 3 in the morning. I don't know what Tamar did, but I doubt she

lasted much longer than me.

Tomorrow we're planning to go on a hike to Elvin Forest.
