Here's our list of "for sure" things we're doing and our list of NYC "must sees":

For sure things:
Monday, July 2nd -- 7:05pm Yankee's game. Phil was able to get great tickets! Field level, 6th row back at third base. Rich and David are packing their mits and Yankee hats. It will be David and Katherine's first major league game, should be awesome!
Tuesday, July 3rd -- 8:00pm - we've coerced Phil and his family into seeing Spamalot.... again, Phil got some great tickets... we'll report back
Wednesday, July 4th -- watch fireworks somewhere in the city.

On our list of things to see:
   - Phil's office
   - Madison Square Garden
   - Empire State Building
   - Ellis Island
   - Times Square
   - Rockefeller Center
   - Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art
   - St Patrick's Catheral
   - Grand Central Station
   - UN
   - Central Park:
        - Start at "The Dairy" at 65th St Traverse and East Park - the dairy just seemed like the right place to start. 😊
        - Head NE up East Park thru The Mall to the Bethesa Fountain and Terrace (the architectural heart of the park) (72nd St)
        - Head SE down 72th to the Conervatory Water (aka, Model Boat Pond) (77th St) - this was one of my favorite spots from past visits
        - Cross thru The Ramble and over the Bow Bridge to the Belvedere Castle - I'm guessing David will think the castle is cool
        - Head up 79th St Traverse to the American Museum of Natural History - we know the exhibits won't come to life, but after seeing the movie, it's a family "must see"
    - Lower East Side -- Lower East Side Tenement Museum / Little Italy / Chinatown
    - Shopping, shopping, shopping - Macy's, Lord & Taylors, Trump Tower Bloomingdale's, Tiffany & Co., up and down Fifth Ave (Katherine is sure to be giddy 😊 )
If there's time:
    - SoHo / Greenwich Village
Wildcard sites -- aka, Steve - our 22 year old nephew who knows areas of the city like the back of his hand!

You tire me out
Just reading all of that tired me out--I can't be jealous, (that's a sin) so let me say I am very happy for you. Especially, 'cause you can do it as a family. Oh, yes, I know I have done some of that and have been to some of those places on your list. When walking down, or up, Park Ave. glance over at Church of Our Saviour, 59 Park Ave. I watch a show on EWTN once a week that is taped from there. All I see, though, is the Pasor standing in front of the Altar as he is speaking. Does anyone else read these comments?? I can't listen to Wes' game--I have Yahoo and besides speakers don't speak.
