Greetings from the Roseville Rose's!!!!
We found a home so our our Homeless Odyssey has come to an end!!! So this will be our final BLOG update.
We have settled in a Del Web Active Adult community in Roseville, CA which is a suburb Sacramento. About two hours East of San Franciscco, 2 hours West of Tahoe/Reno and about 1.5 hours from Napa Valley. So a great location to entertain all of our friends around the world when they come to visit us!!!
It has 27 holes of golf. Our home is not on the golf course but Dwight bought a golf cart so it is a very short drive to the clubhouse. So far Dwight has managed to play all 7 days in March. Joan has played several times also.
There is also an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts(Dwight also joined the tennis club and has been playing every Saturday morning), Fitness center, restuarant plus many clubs....so far it has been great.
We have some great neighbors plus everyone is quite friendly.
So far, Ben and his bride have visited, along with Adam who flew in from Hawaii to go skiing with Ben. Plus Joan's brother and our sister-in-law from Washington have visited. So this just confirms the reason we moved here was to be closer to family!!!
Like I said this will be the final BLOG update so we want to stress that we hope our friends from around the world will come visit us...the door will always be open..so please do not be bashful!!!!
Our new address is:
5995 Timberlodge Lane, Roseville, CA 95747
phone numbers
cell Joan's 630-865-4126, Dwights 630-865-4127
Land line 916-474-5796
So the ROSE'S of ROSEVILLE are signing off but are hoping the next new adventure for us will be entertaining our friends in sunny CALIFORNIA!!!
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
LOVE DWIGHT AND JOAN

We're so glad you're nestled into a new place, and it sounds ideal. There was indeed a pot of gold at the end of the journey. But please keep the blog going with the outside world, especially for those of us who are lousy at keeping in touch but appreciate having a nudge now and then. We've so enjoyed your updates--they're not as good as being there, but they do fill a certain void. Take good care, you two.
