Greetings everyone! We are at it again after 2 years of not being able to travel long distances. We got the approval from Stanford to check off another "bucket list" trip and head to Alaska. It did not come easy as we have done a lot of planning i.e. making sure we had enough meds, signing up for emergency medivac service and knowing which hospitals along the way that are transplant friendly. All things are doable if you plan and that is what we have to do now that we have this new way of life. It's all about living and that is what I was given this second chance to do. The snow and sun has taken its toll and left me sunburned, mostly on my face. I head out to the valley again, arriving in Red Bluff to run some errands. First on the list is laundry. I find a laundromat with help from my trusty Droid, and pick up some groceries. At the laundromat I noticed a hot local girl with gorgeous light eyes checking me out. We have some small-talkish conversation. Her name is Jenna and she is going to a local community college ultimately hoping to become a phlebotomist. At least I think that's what she said.
