At morning walk tried a deviation from our usual route, but then came back to our usual route for fear of losing our way. As usual checked mails, made blog entry, cut vegetables... Did treadmill from 11.45 to 12.30 since i was getting bored. Lunch and nap. Evening after tea R and myself went with Shanthi and AJ to Outlet Mall. They picked up some stuff for Father's Day while we looked/walked around. I tried a fun game at the mall..walking inside a ball on water. I could not even stand inside the ball, let alone trying walking. I kept falling and it was real fun. From the mall went to Mexican restaurant called Bahia. Went for our usual morning walk 7.00-8.00. Sridhar had left early and gone to Denver and returned late at night. Let out Chaya from cage and took her out. Evening went to Market Place, Irvine again along with Shanthi and AJ. Went to Loehman's, Target and Aria. After dinner watched movie 'Ek Main Aur Ek Tu', starring Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Walking in the morning. Amma usually calls at 7.30 am California time, during our walk. In the evening Sridhar dropped us at The Market Place, Irvine. Spent a long time at Bed Bath and Beyond and bought the vegetable chopper we had seen at Shanthi GS's place and a couple of other kitchen items. Went around a few other shops. AJ picked us up at 7.30. Dinner at Vasanthi's place. Watched Space Cowboys movie with AJ till midnight.... read more

Usual walk in the morning. Went with Sridhar to watch his badminton game. People were playing serious games BUT most of them were laughing, giggling and enjoying themselves both while winning and losing. This is in total contrast to the MRC atmosphere. The wooden floors were matted...but quite old. Article on Online 56 titled 'Birth of Online 56' came in Deccan Chronicle, Kerala. Aunty's sister and family joined us for dinner. Usual 1 hr walk in the morning. After lunch Sri, Shanthi, AJ and myself went to Room and Board, a furniture shop and then to Ikea. R did not come. In the evening did gym. R went with Shanthi, AJ and Nanu to Costco and then a shoe shop. In the shoe store they all tried wearing a shoe with five toes. It was big fun trying to wear those shoes... one had to count and check if all the five toes were inside the separate toe slots before inserting the heel! Night 56.... read more
