Buttercup Grill is like one of the old fashioned diners. This particular location gets good reviews and the food was very good and you did receive substantial portions.

There are many buildings from the 20's and 30's along San Pablo and Broadway, the two streets the bus traveled on. Many of them are experiencing a facelift and things appear to be improving in many places.
