After a day of laying around the house and resting up, we headed off to the Los Angeles Zoo for 3 hours. It was a warm day but it was a nice trip. Naomi actually admitted to sweating for the first time. Nice to have those genes. While some of the animals were hiding in the shade, others were out and about. One of the nice areas was the new Elephants of Asia section. The elephants get real close to a nice viewing area. Another area I witnessed a very funny monkey incounter that was funny. See the pictures to view what I saw. When we stopped by the Giant River Otter area, one lone otter was agitated either for its mate/relation in a nearby pen or wanted his lunch. It kept calling out. We then to Long Beach after leaving the zoo.
