We didn’t do so bad today considering we travelled through the night on a bus. Annie was drugged up on nytol, equipped with ear plugs and an eye mask so snored most of the way while Scotty struggled to get comfy. However, after a burger king at 3:45a.m, Augustus managed to get some sleep.



It was already different to San Fran with the sweltering heat, California is having a heat wave 😊 While Scotty is in his element, Annie, being from the valleys, is not coping well with all the walking! After a quick change in the hotel we headed off to Hollywood and boy was that different to Downtown LA.



The Hollywood sign looked strange from so far away after seeing it so big on tv but it was still awesome to see.



The walk of fame went on for blocks and blocks; we didn’t get through the five thousand stars but saw some amusing ones along the way including ‘Big Bird’, ‘Shrek’ and ‘Mickey Mouse’. Scott enjoyed comparing his feet size to most of the celebrity’s whilst Annie was in awe at standing in the same place as so many super stars. After countless pictures of celebrity names and Phil squeezing one in with his friend Shrek, we jumped on a tour to see the celebs’ homes in Beverly Hills which was pretty cool! During the tour we hopped off and took a stroll down Rodeo Drive and among the biggest designer names sat a £1.9 million Bugatti Veyron, (Annie is currently yawning) but Scott almost fell over in excitement and had to have at least four pictures of the masterpiece!(Annie is still yawning!)



There’s not as much to see here as San Fran so we’re heading down Santa Monica beach tomorrow to sunbathe, take a dip in the Pacific Ocean and stroll along the boardwalk, in the sun, not to make you all jealous or anything 😉

The young man who owns this car is just 21! 21!!! Sadly he inherited it and the beautiful designer house of Bijan after his designer dad 'Bijan Pakzad' died last year! Despite (or maybe even because of?) his wealth, it appears he is still a pretty nice young man! x
