Well it has officially happened - first sunburn of the trip! I am rocking a very attractive sunglasses tan, and Brenden as usual just a tan 😞
LA has been relaxing! this morning we walked to Noahs New York Bagels for breaky - nothing beats a bagel with cream cheese! Then we had to try the 'Famous Hot Wings' beachside! Am looking forward to a tin of soup in the hostel for dinner tonight!
Venice beach is officially the best place for people watching, were you can see a circus act, a skate show or someone dressed as a penguin being asked to be an extra on a low budget film! all whislt sitting at a beach side cafe, listening to the homeless play a very impressive old piano - occasionally stopping to either yell at the man dressed as a penguin being an extra that his stupid or to spit in what i did think was his tip jar!
I think i have worn everything out of my 50L backpack that i have bought bar one dress and one pair of shorts - i can forsee a few upgrades in the not so distant future! Having said
that - the 10kilos to lug around is so easy!
We fly to Lima (Peru) tomorrow, leave at lunchtime and after a 4.5 hour night stop over in Mexico City arrive in Lima at 6.30am after 10 hours flight time! So tonight will consist of trying to squeeze everything back into my tiny bag, which seems no matter how little i have everything manages its way onto the floor, sink and bed and not in the bag - as anyone who has seen my room can surely imagine!
Looking forward to one last hot shower tonight before our next stint of which we have been told that hot showers are luxory!
