Hello everybody,
I had a few days before I left Los Angeles for my cruise, so I took a 6 hour city tour. They told us that Hollywood starrted around 1927. It was the year the first Academy Awards were held as a luncheon at the Roosevelt Hotel. It was also when studios chose LA as the place for film premieres. I did all the touristy stuff--stood on the square where the likes of Joan Rivers screams, "who are you wearing?" and "who do you have with you?" I then walked up that long staircase to the entrance of the Dolby theatre that holds 3400 people.
Enjoy the pictures,
Donna
