It started to snow as we left our hotel in Vegas, not a good sign when we got to the airport and our flight was already delayed by 2 hours.
Took off about 4 hours late and landed in LA some 40 mins later, we could have got a bus here in that time, not to worry though, we landed in LA and it was pouring down and it's not stopped since.
LA is HUGE, it took us over an hour to get from LAX airport to our hostel, it's in the Melrose part of town, think Melrose Place the TV show, it's next to Sunset Boulevard and the Hollywood hills are in the distance, well they would be if the fog ever lifted!!
We wandered around Melrose at night in the rain, it's really battering down so we went back to the hostel for something to eat and chilled for the rest of the night.
