We stayed right on the eastern edge of Nevada last night, just across the time zone into Pacific Time. So, we woke up around 5:00 am PT, and hit the road just after 6:00 am.
We traveled diagonally across Nevada for 420 miles. That is a big state! For the first 100 miles, we probably saw 8 cars and nothing else. We took mainly back roads and had a great drive.
We are staying at an RV park right off of Mono Lake just over the California border, and 0.2 miles from a cool little tourist town in Lee Vining, CA. Watching the US soccer game in the RV at the moment.....Sheila is running (shocking)....and we will head to town for dinner a little later.
On to Yosemite tomorrow....only 85 miles.
