We have shipped a container of 9 bikes over to Los Angeles and we are about to pick them up and head off to explore the Trans America Trail. It is a strange feeling for me that we are missing my good friend and Partner in Adventure, Gerardo, who is suffering -7 deg days down in Punta Arenas, Chile, while we have to suffer such high temperatures in North America. I will try not to have too much fun, Gerardo! In The Beginning.....
