We arrived at Rio Bend RV and Golf Resort on Wednesday afternoon, January 6; three days after Nan’s birthday.

Yesterday, we drove into El Centro, CA, about 8 miles east of Rio Bend. Costco and Wal-Mart.

Today, after Nan’s water aerobics at the heated pool, we drove in to El Centro to visit our bank.

We are going to enjoy this hot spot in the desert. I’ve taken a turn on the bocce courts and the horseshoe pits. Maybe I’ll hit the hot spa tomorrow.

I’ve uploaded some photos to give you an idea of heaven in the middle of winter is like.

It is surprising how many Canadians are down this way for the winter. Maybe not; eh?

glad to about your current position and destination. Roll'em straight! The warmth sounds wonderful. I played golf for the first time in 2010 yesterday. A sunny day for a change. The Packer/Cardinals game was great to watch if you like offense. 1000 yds's bstween the two teams. Overtime 51 to 45 Cardinals. Both QB's were out of this world. The catches by the ends were unreal. Keep us posted. Happy continued travels. TJM

Heaven
Sounds like heaven! We have been below freezing here in the tropics for three days. Wish I were there with you guys! Have fun and stay safe, Kath
