Driving on the wrong side of the road in a large van has proved something of a problem, however John is slowly mastering it and no-one has sworn at him yet.

On our trip from Venura we got lost quite a few times, and spent an hour or so in Walmart stocking up and getting organised. It meant that we didn't get as far as we wanted and ended up at Pismo Beach which was probably a good thing because it was so gorgeous.

This Travel Blog is for our family and friends to see where we are and what we are getting up to. I hope this blog will be a great way for us to keep in contact. We are visiting USA for nine weeks and have hired a campervan for this mammoth road trip. We start in LA and head up Highway 1 stopping for a couple of nights in Big Sur. Next we visit San Fransisco before heading across country to Yosemite and the ghost town of Bodie. We will drive back to the coast to visit the Redwood Forests before driving up through Oregon and Washington State visiting more National Parks along the way. Af... full info
