Up and decided to go to Julia Pfieffer Burns Park and take a nice walk. It was a beautiful morning
and we were early and so there were not many people about. We were glad to see the waterfall was
still flowing into the sand. From there we hiked over to the primitive camping area. Did not go all
the way down into the camping area because there were several groups camped there.

Got back to the car and had ourselves a breakfast of cheese, fruit, and crackers while watching all
the people arriving to go hiking. There was one of the many bikers we saw along the Highway 1 having a bite to eat before going on a hike. Seems to be an awful grueling bike ride but guess if you like that sort of thing.............

Back to the camp and broke camp and headed back to Monterey. We got to Veteran's Memorial and the spot up near the restroom and dishwashing area was available so we took it and set ourselves up. We had stopped in town for ice and found out there was a Farmer's Market going on down near the Crown and Anchor so we got cleaned up and headed down the hill walking into town. The Farmer's Market was still going strong and the vegetables looked so very nice but unfortunately we were shopped up and did not need anything!

Got to the Crown and Anchor and found a place at the bar and visited with a lady that had been to
Africa for awhile. Art was working and had a nice visit with him. Tony came over and told a few of
his jokes so a good time was had by all!
