After visiting Point Lobos today, I decided to make the 30 mile or so drive to Big Sur to experience that stretch of Highway 1 that I have not yet seen. Turns out Big Sur is mostly a camping community, and is not right on the coast. However, most of the road leading to Big Sur from Carmel is right along the ocean.

1) Japan, Sep 2014. With the allure of a very foreign culture to me, non-English speaking, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Shinkansen (bullet trains), Tsukiji fish market, and Sumo wrestling, it was time for a two week break from life and traveled to Japan for the second half of September. Wow, what an amazing place, just loved every minute I spent there exploring.

Windy all the time at this house?Pretty rural as well. Nearest convenience store is a bit of a drive from here. Don't even think about just hopping on your road bike and biking it, unless you have Lance Armstrong kind of legs.
