Albany Waterfront Trail/Albany Bulb

I visited the Albany Bulb a couple of times, this day and 22 March 2009. I believe once a landfill for at least construction materials. You will find some old concrete and rebar in places along the trail. There is also some cool artwork in the NW corner of the bulb, that I didn't stumble across until my second visit there.

The horse track, looking SE toward the back of the building. This day (5 April) was the Daschund Derby. Every other race was a race run by 10 to 12 Daschunds. Their race "course" was about a 30 yard straightaway. Pretty funny though as some of them just ran all over the place.
