Mon. Nov. 21

Out Geocaching today. The first stop was to put a new log in a cache that neeed a new one then over to Pegleg Smith to find the cache there. Lots of folks boondocking there, at least 2 dozen.

Then we drove over to Ocotillo Wells OHV area for a few Geocaches there. Found 6 today. Headed home
and got home about 3:30 pm, as the sun set behind the mountain...dark comes early here.

Tues. Nov. 22

Drove into the Big City....Rancho Mirage. Our frist stop was Walmart to exchange the VWs radio for one that works. Had lunch at Red Robin, sharing a Free Chicken Quesadellia appetizer and a Whiskey River Chicken
Sandwich. Then we headed over to the Regal Theater to see Happy Feet 2 in 3D. On the way back to camp we stopped at WinCo for groceries...Wendy loves that store. And we stopped at Del Taco in Mecca to get our Free Steak tacos. We got 2 steak tacos for me and two chicken tacos for Wendy which we wil save for later. Got
home just befor 7pm and Gordon was very glad to see us. Had a whole bucket of leftover popcorn for snacking.

Wed. Nov. 23

Another Geocaching Day. After picking up some goodies at the Christmas Circle Farmer's Market, we went out and found 6 more Geocaches.
Thanksgiving weekend is apparently here, at 5pm there were only three empty campsites left in the campground with lots of families and lots of kids.

Thurs. Nov. 24 -- Happy Thanksgiving

Relaxing day for me but Wendy stayed busy fixing Thanksgiving Day dinner. We had turkey breast, potatoes, broccoli, and green beans from the Farmer's Market. Very good meal. Also watched some football on the TV.

Fri. Nov. 25

Sixteen days after leaving honme it was finally Laundry Day. We drove into town to the nicer laundromat....$1.50 wash and $1.50 fifty minutes dry (no way to do less minutes for less money). While Wendy watched the clothes
go round and round, I went to put a new cache container in one of the caches we did the other day that needed a new one. I trimmed my beard and Wendy trimmed my hair which needed it done. She did a good job. The weather continues to be beautiful, sunny and warm.
