Day 30 - Uma

M came and picked us up at 7am. Reached Uma's house after a 5 hour drive. Uma showed us her house. It was time for lunch. So, without even sitting down left for lunch. Had lunch at an Indian restaurant called Indian Orchard..only buffet lunch...was good. Also ordered a couple of side dishes for the night. Then Uma took us to Walmart Stores. The Batmobile was being exhibited there until 3pm. Quite a number of people had come there to see it. While driving around saw Bogle Park. Next stop was 5 and 10..called five and dime, where Sam Walton of Walmart fame started his first shop. This shop has been converted into a Museum about the history of Sam Walton and Walmart. Then Uma took us to her office. From there went to Maanoj's office and gave him a surprise visit. After that Uma wanted to take us to a temple, but it was closed.

Came home and slept. Everybody was tired. In the evening R and me went with Uma down the street and saw a few houses under construction, and then chatted at a nearby park. Maanoj came home at 6.30pm. The six of us played 56 for a while. Had dinner of chapathi and the side dishes we had bought. After dinner Maanoj had to go out, but suggested several options for us to entertain ourselves. Decided to go for a movie at Malco Cinemas. Tickets for 3D version of 'Avengers' at 9.30pm was sold out by the time we reached there. Had to settle for the regular version of the movie, 10pm show.
