Gerry would get up really early and go into the desert close to where we stay and take many pictures. He said it was a fantastic place to go.
First off I want to say happy birthday to two special people. The first is our grandson, Jaden who lives in Cumming, Georgia. He is 11 today. Wish we could be with him. Big hugs from Nana and Papa. Secondly I want to send out another happy birthday to Pierce who I am not sure how old.....alot over 11 though. We send our love, Pierce and I hope you have a great day. The RV park we are in, Queen Valley RV Resort is very clean, but very much like a trailer park. Mostly park models and most of them are empty, until the people come back in the winter. It is comfortable here though as it is close to everywhere. Today we took another side trip and did the tourist thing. We went on this Apache Trail and it took us to some really funky places. We stopped at a little museum along the way and it was like a country setting. There was a movie that Elvis starred in and they named the chapel after him. Then we drove further and we stopped at this cool mine town. We walked around and went and had a cool drink at

the saloon. It was getting late so we didn't go all the way to Tortilla Flats. We are going to save that for tomorrow. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
