I had a quick visit in the U.S. and of course one of those places that I could not miss was the Grand Canyon. You have excelled yourself Marcos. I have seen many blogs on the Grand Canyon but none have captured the essence of the palette of colours in the myriad of striations in the strata that can be seen in your blog. Your oblique shots to contrast stata exhibit you were like an artist revelling in the creativity lying before you. This pic is a cracker...the colours so real but out of this World. Brilliant.

The reds & the greys
Another cracker shot Marcos. The diverging grey scree slopes falling from the red cliffs converging on a snaking watercourse spilling down.Brilliant sharp colours.

Striations in brown
Great angles to catch the variations in the weathered layering. Brilliant.

Wow!

The Grand Canyon
I absolutely love this photo Marcos. It captures the amazing nuances of colour that are so unique and make a visit to Utah & Arisona so special in SW USA.

Hey Dave, I still cannot believe you really like that photo!! But I think, for my experience, the Copper Canyon in Mexico was better and also for the Taraumara tribe living in that area. Really appreciate Dave thanks.
